The Dance Factory originally opened in 1993 when Nina Scattaregia began teaching just a few classes for children each week at the studio on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan College. Since then, The Dance Factory has moved twice to accommodate the growing number of students. Our new facility is located at 107 W. Main Street in the city of Buckhannon, West Virginia. The Dance Factory employs only the most qualified and caring instructors from the area. We pride ourselves in teaching children the proper technique in dance and gymnastics.

MISSION STATEMENT:
“At The Dance Factory we are dedicated to providing training in the arts for students of all ages and levels in a nurturing environment. Through teaching dance, movement, and gymnastics we believe that we are teaching life skills that will support our students from their early childhood years through their elementary and high school years as they mature into young adults.
Movement makes the body stronger and organizes the mind to be able to express actively and creatively. We encourage each student to reach their fullest potential while here in our programs.
