Dance-Performance
The Augusta Youth Ballet Company (AYBC) is a non-profit organization created to provide performance opportunities and additional training for dancers interested in classical ballet and related dance forms.  For the last six years, the Company has performed a full-length ballet each holiday season.  The Company has also provided performances and concerts for Buckhannon, Elkins, and Weston.  The AYBC has been selected to perform in the annual West Virginia State Dance Festival each spring in Charleston, WV for the last six years. In June 2004, the Company performed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Dancers in the AYBC have had the opportunity to work with various choreographers and attend master classes and workshops with guest artists.  Auditions for the AYBC are held in late summer or early fall.  Contact Nina M. Competition Dance Team
The Dance Factory will organize and establish a junior and senior competition dance team for the 2005-06 semesters.  Dancers will be required to train in classical ballet, jazz, and other related dance forms.  Contact Kipp Colvin or Nina Scattaregia for additional information.
